Virtual Health

Matt Bush, MD, is the President of Integrated Market Strategies and Questcare. As part of this role he has oversight of Envision Healthcare’s Virtual Health program. Dr. Bush is passionate about the opportunity that virtual care affords to improve outcomes, lower cost, and increase access to care.

After graduating from medical school at University of Texas-Southwestern, Dr. Bush completed emergency medicine training at Carolinas Medical Center. Since 2010 when he started Questcare Telehealth which was acquired by Envision in 2015, Dr. Bush has lead the implementation of virtual health programs in multiple specialties including neurology, psychiatry, emergency medicine, critical care, neonatology, and trauma at over 70 facilities across the United States.

Rich Sanders has over 15 years of physician practice management and operations experience. He is a pioneer in inpatient telemedicine services and has published several scientific articles in the Journal of Telemedicine and e-Health. In 2019 Rich took on the role of VP Innovation with Envision Healthcare. Rich joined Envision in 2015 to grow and scale Envision’s Distributed Radiology Operations. Prior to joining Envision Rich launched a multispecialty inpatient telemedicine practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Rich is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, earned a Bachelor of Science from Utah State University, a Masters of Public Health from Emory University and a Doctorate degree in Healthcare Administration and Leadership from the Medical University of South Carolina.

A nurse of 26+ years, Kat's experience includes bedside care delivery, hospital administration, practice management, clinical operations, and consulting across various healthcare settings. Kat’s virtual care expertise includes program consultation, project management, implementation, and program optimization.

By leveraging proven processes and toolkits she provides guidance from program creation to care delivery including strategic road mapping, program governance, workflow design, success measurement, and best practice recommendations.

Michael Baker, MD, FACEP is the Regional Director of Virtual Health for EPMG/Envision. He has been actively educating and advocating for telemedicine since 2014 through Envision and ACEP. He has been appointed Adjunct Clinical Instructor, Emergency Medicine University of Michigan where he is core faculty for the emergency medicine residency program. He also has a faculty appointment to Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.

Dr. Gamber was raised in Arlington, Texas. He received undergraduate degrees from Texas A&M University. He attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He completed an emergency medicine residency at Texas A&M/Scott & White Hospital. He is dual board certified in emergency medicine and emergency medical services.

Dr. Gamber has worked at Medical City Plano since 2005. He serves as the EMS Medical Director for Plano, Frisco, Murphy & Parker Fire Departments. Dr. Gamber was selected as the 2015 EMS Medical Director of the Year by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Dr. Gamber serves as the Chief of Staff of Medical City Plano and Medical City Frisco.

Dr. Gamber and his wife Lauren have three children, Ella (15), Lily (14), and Charlie (10).

Harshit Rao, MD, serves as Envision’s Director of Tele-Critical and Tele-Pulmonary Care. He is board certified in critical care, pulmonary and internal medicine and specializes in the treatment of complex critically ill patients in medical, surgical, neurosurgical and open heart recovery units.

Dr. Rao's experience includes leading the development of Envision’s tele-critical care program in North Texas, working as an intensivist and pulmonary physician for HCA North Texas Division and leading a dedicated clinician team. Having presented at several industry conferences, he is also an accomplished writer and speaker.
